Types of Car Headlights

The headlight bulbs we need the most when driving on a dark road are now getting more advanced as technology improves. Compared to the old vehicles, the current cars are going faster, so the visibility distances have to increase. Headlight bulbs are of three types: LED, halogen and xenon.

1.Halogen Headlights

It consists of monovalent elements that can easily pass into a negative ion state. In this case, there are only 5 elements in nature. Of these, only the elements iodine and bromine are used for headlight bulbs. The reason is to prevent darkening and rapid breakage that may occur in the tungsten filament. One of the most obvious features of these headlights is that they get very hot and give light in yellow tones. Compared to other headlight bulbs, it has a shorter life, more convenient and shorter viewing distances.

2.Xenon Headlights

High-intensity discharge bulbs or xenon do not need the metal element like halogen headlights. Its basic principle is like fluorescent lamps. A high-level voltage current is created between the Decoupled electrodes to give light. They don't explode easily because they are in a tube. These headlights are filled with xenon gas, just like fluorescence. The fact that it is conductive is a property of xenon gas. Headlights with xenon bulbs have a bluish light and brighter. It heats up less compared to halogens. These headlights may also need to be slightly heated to get all the efficiency. They have moderate costs.

3.LED Headlights

LED headlight bulbs emit light with the diodes that are inside them, created with the latest technology. These bulbs, which have started to become very popular among motorists, are preferred because they have both a long service life and low power consumption Decently. It is also used to illuminate the interior of the vehicle. Especially in-car lighting is found in luxury vehicles.
